The organizers of the Siberian International Marathon, developing and promoting traditions in Russia, kindly invite you to come to the city of Omsk and participate in our Siberian Ice Half-Marathon, held in 2007 on 7th of January.

This is a unique opportunity for you to run a half-marathon in snow-covered Siberia and, at the same time, to learn about our rich cultural traditions as you observe Siberians celebrating Russian Orthodox Christmas.

Course

21 km- 6 loops by 3,5 km on mostly flat, paved and traffic-free roads, starting and finishing at Central Square in downtown Omsk. The race runs along the historical center and embankment of the Irtysh River.

7 km - 2 loops by 3,5 km.
Weather conditions

Siberian winter weather is unpredictable; the coldest weather (39 degrees below 0 C ) was registered in 2001, the warmest in 12-year-long history of Ice Marathons - minus 12 C in 2003.
Entry Fee

Participant's packet
Euro 30 for runners residing outside the Russian Federation.

At bib pickup each participant will receive a special warm sports cap, each finisher will get an original medal. A certificate with your personal results and results book will be mailed to you later.
